Was back and wide throughout. Goes well course and distance and can bounce back. DRIELANDENPUNT (2) finished sixth over 1600m at Greyville at his most recent appearance on January 2. Now under the care of new trainer Juan Nel. Strong chance to kick the campaign off on the right note. HOSPICES DE BEAUNE (4) has been in the market at his last couple of starts but hasn't made an impression, last start finishing sixth over 1600m at this track. Worth another chance. KING RAHUL (6) finished 3.5 lengths adrift in sixth last time over 1300m at this track in a disappointing performance. Finds a nice race and can atone.
