Expecting Frangipane to take up the lead at a genuine tempo. FRANGIPANE (9) was an impressive maiden winner last time out, scoring by 5 lengths over 1400m at this track. Sparingly raced and has more to offer. Shaping up nicely and a bold showing is expected. CANTERBURY BEAM (1) is still a maiden after 10 starts. Managed to find the placings at this track two starts back before finishing sixth over 1300m at this track last start. Should be in the mix. MORINO CARNIVAL (5) returns from a layoff of three months. Worth noting he filled a minor placing when returning from a spell last prep over 1300m at this track. One to consider. TECHNO LIBERTARIAN (6) raced on the speed last time but couldn't finish the race off and clocked-in fifth over 1400m at this track. Among the better chances in what looks a nice race.
