Reasonable tempo with Ho O Venus probably leading but a few others should keep her honest. LEO ATROPOS (7) was in contention on the bend and progressed nicely last start to finish a close second over 1200m at this track after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Finds a suitable race and can play a major role. HO O VENUS (8) recorded a gutsy maiden victory last time out over 1500m at Kawasaki, scoring by half a length. Shaping up nicely and she is right in the mix again. EXMEDI NO KISEKI (6) raced on the speed and lifted to score by 2 lengths at this track and distance last start to maintain his good form of late. Has his share of ability. Hard to beat again in this suitable race. GRANDE ARMEE (3) scored a dominant victory at this track over 1200m at her latest appearance on February 6. Looks one of the genuine hopes in the race.
