Good early pressure for top spot with Sir Randolph or Fior The Tiger likely to take up the running. WINE BARRON (2) was well supported when resuming here last month but could only manage fourth. Kept fresh for this but has stayed in work with a nice tick-over trial here in-between starts. Electing to go with a senior rider in Pannell instead of a claimer shows the stable's confidence. Bold showing anticipated. BELMONT AVENUE (3) has put the writing on the wall in his last two. Is another that comes in on the fresh side but did go back to the trials to keep the legs ticking over. Main danger. SIR RANDOLPH (1) returns and makes his stable debut for Andrew Clarken. Has shown good ability in his first two preps and is right in the mix.
