Reasonable tempo with Skill Hunter probably leading but a few others should keep him honest. SKILL HUNTER (11) doesn't boast the best winning strike rate but ran a nice race when fresh from a spell last time out, finishing second and beaten only 1.5 lengths over 1500m at this track. Meets some better types this time but he has the talent to test this line-up. MANNO MUSE (6) had been in great form winning two on end before missing the frame last time when fourth over 1700m at this track. Drops back in journey this time. Katsuto Maruno who has scored on her two times retains the mount. Should be in the finish. RIC TO MEMMA (7) ran above expectations and got up for second at big odds at her latest appearance at Monbetsu over 1200m. Good signs last time and can feature in the finish. GRAND CUBE (9) showed little early speed last start then picked up impressively in the straight to finish third at this track over today's journey. One of the main contenders.
