Reasonable tempo with Soul Destroyer probably leading but a few others should keep him honest. SOUL DESTROYER (1) resumes from a spell that would have done him the world of good. He has had a couple of trials, and even from a wide gate, he is the one to beat for us. ENCHANTED DELIGHT (5) ran a much better race when finishing runner-up on the Riccarton poly track nearly 3 weeks ago over 1200m. She will be close to her peak fitness now, and another good run is on the cards. WARRIOR OF WAR (9) has been freshened after an average run over 2200m here nearly 8 weeks ago. She is worth another chance from a good draw in this. SHESASCORCHER (13) has more upside than most in this, and she has been back to the trials since finishing fourth at Timaru 5 weeks ago over 1200m. Stick with her on an each-way basis. SUGGESTED PLAY: Soul Destroyer each way value.
