Moderate tempo with Powder Snow leading the way and a few others keeping in touch. POWDER SNOW (9) did little and finished 8 lengths from the winner in tenth over 1500m at this track last start after being in the firing line on the bend, a less impressive effort than her fourth at Monbetsu the run before. Nicely placed to take this out. LOVE LEGAL (7) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 11 lengths when fourth in a 1500m contest at this track two weeks ago. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run this time. CANTA CANARITO (6) returns after nine weeks in the paddock. Closed the last campaign with a ninth over 1400m at Kanazawa. Nicely placed and can get off the mark. IZUMI AMAZONES (1) was beaten 13 lengths into sixth in a 1500m contest at this track at her latest appearance. Nicely placed to find some form.
