Solid tempo likely from Ten Shillings and Noivern. FAWKE LIGHTNING (7) was beaten by a wide gate at Timaru last time out, 5 weeks ago. She has won a trial since then, and with some better luck from another wide draw, she can take this out. GOOD CRAIC (8) has been racing well without much luck since relocating from the North Island 3 starts ago. With the right run from the pole position, she can post an overdue win. TEN SHILLINGS (2) was put aside after finishing third on debut in June. He resumes for a new trainer with 3 trials under his belt, and will be ready to rumble. NOIVERN (1) failed to flatter off a wide gate and in a stronger field last start. Stick with him. Each way. RED STAR RHONDA (13) was well supported on debut after some good trial form. Don't risk her here. SUGGESTED PLAY: Good Craic each way.
