Strong pace with Kentucky Sky, Riko Sparrow and Tonopah pushing forward, closely attended by Ryota Special and Swift Runner. TONOPAH (9) showed good early speed from the inside draw last start before finishing second over 1500m at this track. Masashige Honda gets the best out of this five-year-old entire and is ready to go one better. TIME MOMENT (7) ran an improved race second up last start to finish in the placings over 1400m at this venue, beaten 3 lengths. Generally runs well third up from a spell so he is among the winning hopes. RYOTA SPECIAL (6) missed the placings two runs back then improved last start but found one better over 1500m here, beaten 0.8 lengths after being in contention on the corner. Going up a level this time but he is up to the challenge. KEN ATLAS (8) finished fourth over 1400m at this course at his most recent appearance on August 19. Has found the right race and is worth including in calculations.
