Moderate tempo with Affluential leading the way. AFFLUENTIAL (6) will be all the rage again. He's won his past five, a mix of flat and jumps runs, dominant at Werribee on the flat two back and again far too good in a BM120 hurdle at Sandown-Lakeside last time. Gets in very light at the weights here and should go close. TEAM CAPTAIN (2) hasn't won in a while but is a handy stayer on his day and hasn't been far away of late. This is easier than last start in the Sandown Cup. LINCOLN KING (1) is racing well over the jumps, third in the Australian Hurdle last start at Sandown-Lakeside over 3900m. Prior to that he was just behind Affluential at Warrnambool. Solid hope. SING FOR PEACE (3) hasn't really fired this time in but his best is good enough. NASSAK DIAMOND (4) next best. SUGGESTED PLAY: Affluential to win.
