TABTOUCH BETTER YOUR BET HANDICAP 1100m

Track: SOFT 5   Rain (Max: 16)   Rail: Out 8m Entire; Cutaway Applies.

A slick tempo on the cards with The Great Hoya and Ensign Pulver battling for the lead ahead of Nobellity and Storm Commander. THE GREAT HOYA (5) wasn't far away at Bunbury last start when 1.9L off the winner. Close to his best there and he draws a much better gate this time around. Brad Parnham won't have to do too much early work, and if he can build on his latest effort, he can get back to winning ways. STORM COMMANDER (1) is a consistent galloper who hasn't been far away for much of his campaign. He was just 1.8L off the winner over 1000m here last start and the slight rise in trip shouldn't be an issue. Drawn to get every chance under Fiore and he's sure to make his presence felt. BONNIE LAD (3) has trialled well in readiness for his resumption today and can make his presence felt. ENTICING (7) was good on resumption at Belmont and a repeat of that effort will see him go close. SUGGESTED PLAY: The Great Hoya gets the nod.
