Matsuyama to set a strong early tempo. JUNGLE PRINCE (11) was left flat-footed last time out a fortnight ago and he was already looking for more ground. He has the winkers on for the first time and with 3-kilos less to carry this time, he will be hard to hold out. YET THE MOVES (9) has been thereabouts this prep in NSW and now joins the Queensland arm of the Chris Waller stable. He is rock-hard fit and has Vlad Duric in the saddle. Each-way claims. PERSEVERE (2) capped off some good form with a well-deserved victory at the Sunshine Coast 10 days ago. The extra furlong will only further enhance his each-way claims in an open contest here. COOL KAAP (13) is better than his form suggests and he should be at his peak fitness after 3 runs back from a spell. Michael Rodd takes the ride and he should finish a lot closer here.
