Keen tempo. The consistent MISS CARTEL (2) broke through for a well-deserved win last start over 1300m at Scone, leading all the way and giving the others no chance. Cherry-ripe after two runs back from a spell and looks ideally placed to repeat the dose. YAMBA'S GIRL (7) won here at this trip on debut two starts back then settled a little further back last time then ran on fairly for fourth. Has plenty more to offer so with luck from a tricky gate she is a serious contender. DECLUTTER (12) lined up for the 31st time last start and finally saluted, getting home by the barest margin over 1450m at Muswellbrook. Back in trip but the eight-day back-up is a positive sign from the stable. HOTZINO (5) returns from a 24-week break and is now with Kris Lees. Finished a close second first-up last prep over 1600m at Bairnsdale. One to keep an eye on. SHE'S A REVELATION (8) has been about the mark at both runs this time in work and looks in need of this trip now. SUGGESTED PLAY: Following up with Miss Cartel.
