Loads of early pressure, primarily from Juliet Bravo and Let'sgetridiculous. The original top four selections come out so this is now a far easier task for KALPANA (6). Got a mile out of her ground last start over this trip at Moree before making late inroads. Distance specialist whose racing pattern is suited by this smaller field. Looks the one to beat. GOVERNOR GENERAL (2) back up five days after an ordinary effort over 1300m at Dubbo. Far better placed up to the mile so he looks a serious threat on the quick turnaround. THE GREAT ARMADA (4) has been poor at his last couple. Comes into contention if he finds the form that saw him score in a Class 1 here at this trip three runs ago. APPLE CIDER (1) led but was reeled in late to finish third over 1900m at Armidale recently. Sure to be prominent for a long way. The others look no hope, with LET'SGETRIDICULOUS (7) probably the pick of them. SUGGESTED PLAY: Kalpana on top.
