SOUTHERN HEIRESS (12) is a two-year-old filly from the Michael Freedman stable on debut today. Has been close enough in her trials to suggest a solid race day showing. MEDITERRA (10) was never in the hunt on a heavy track on debut but previous trials were solid. In good hands and with the race experience gets another chance. LADY TALEA (8) who is second up here and JIGADEE (2) who is on debut are both worth watching for any major market moves. SUGGESTED PLAY: Magical Star to win.
