Cracking tempo with A Shin Quasar and Tomiken Shairi leading the way. RAISON DU SOURIRE (1) ran a nice race last time out, finishing second and beaten only half a length over 1400m here. Must raise the bar but a big run is on the cards. HEKIKU (6) turned things around last start and scored by 2.5 lengths as favourite over 1400m at this track. Meeting a deeper field this time but he is up to the challenge. DONA APHRODITE (12) is a distance specialist who progressed nicely last time out to finish just half a length from the winner in second over 1400m at this track. Worth serious consideration. HOKKO HANAMICHI (4) finished second last start over 1400m at this track, beaten 1.5 lengths. Tackling a deeper field this time but he is good enough to take this out.
