CORIN VANILLA (8) pushed forward from a wide draw last time out and was prominent for a long way before fading to finish fifth over 1700m at this track. One of the main contenders. TOHO GEMMA (9) produced another moderate effort last start when ninth over 1400m at Kasamatsu. Likely improver.
