MIKUNI SUNBEAM (2) was well-fancied when resuming last start but could only manage second over 1600m at this track. Has never missed the frame when second-up from three starts and will strip much fitter for this. Ready to find winning form. ADMIRE ASIA (5) is having his first run since May 22. Has a strong record when fresh with four wins from six runs, the most recent over 1800m at this track at the start of last prep. Winning chance while fresh. SHADOW LUPIN (8) scored at his most recent appearance, getting home by a nose over 2000m at this track. That continued the very strong form this campaign, with two wins from three starts. Expect a bold showing. LYSINE (6) was in the money two starts back at Urawa but couldn't back it up last time when seventh, beaten 5 lengths, at Funabashi over 1800m. Best figures measure up nicely.
