Moderate tempo expected with Astrogazer likely to find the front over Casterly Rock and Feazabeel. FEAZABEEL (1) has gone to a new level this prep with the two wins from his four starts. Strong through the line with the 60kg for a respectable second over this track and trip. Will relish the claim and can race closer from the inside barrier. Hard to hold out. EXORBITANT MISS (9) bounced back to form with a fast finishing win over 1750m at Muswellbrook. Nicely placed again to keep the ball rolling. MAGIC MERLIN (2) improving gelding who got off the mark over 1500m at Muswellbrook last start in good style. Ready for this trip and further now and is hard fit fifth-up. ASTROGAZER (3) two runs back have only been fair and looks to find the right race today. Ran good figures when winning over the mile last prep and can take a hand in the finish. SUGGESTED PLAY: Feazabeel can assert his class here.
