Pierce to take charge ahead of Suzuran Queen at a good tempo. NYAN TARO (3) was safely held two runs back then relished the easier company last time when he led throughout to score over 1500m at this track. Terrific chance to go back-to-back. PIERCE (8) was an impressive winner last time over 1400m at this track, leading throughout and putting 4 lengths on her rivals. Sure to take some stopping again. BUENOS OPTIMA (7) broke through for her maiden win over 900m at this track last time, scoring comfortably. Looks well placed and she is a great chance to go back-to-back. GENE CHEN (9) was beaten 11 lengths into sixth in a 1500m contest at this track last time out. Suitably placed so can turn things around.
