Expecting Sparkling Fire to find the lead but there will be plenty of pressure over the sharp trip. SWITCH ON (14) returns for her second campaign. Slow into stride on debut and raced keenly with a disappointing ninth over 1300m at Warwick Farm last April. Looks ready to go with the two sharp trials and stable jockey retains the ride. Can put these away first up. SPARKLING FIRE (1) sound return with the 59kg when prominent at the turn for a close-up second over 1200m at Newcastle. Has the ability to get the prize in this grade. OAKFIELD IOWA (2) impressed in all three career starts and doesn't have to improve much to win this. Heavily supported into favouritism with a gritty second over 1400m at Newcastle. Blinkers go on and capable of taking this out. SYLVAN (7) Wootton Bassett gelding from Sylpheed on debut for the Archibald yard. Trialled well and can make his mark from the good gate.
