Off the low draw Millionaire Lover is likely to find the lead at a slick tempo. MILLIONAIRE LOVER (9) could only manage eighth on debut then improved last start but found a couple better over 1000m at Bairnsdale, beaten half a length after being in the firing line on the bend. Heading the right way and maps ideally, go close. CRIES AND WHISPERS (1) improved last time out, finishing 4 lengths from the winner in third at Wangaratta over 1170m. Third up now and ready to fire. WOOSH (11) was okay first up on similar ground at Wangaratta when fifth. Was in the market there and has upside, should improve here. MISS NAVRATILOVA (6) resumes for the Hayes yard. She showed glimpses in four runs last time in and can be an improver into this campaign. IRONIC FORTUNE (2) wasn't beaten far fresh at Bendigo in third and that reads well for this. SUGGESTED PLAY: Millionaire Lover to win.
