GION PRINCESS (7) took up the running and turned in front but faded to finish ninth, beaten 6 lengths, over this journey at this track last start. One of the main contenders. SUN PINON (8) had support when resuming last time out but never threatened when a disappointing sixth, beaten 6 lengths, over 1400m at this track. Better than that and can improve sharply.
