Star Whisperer to go to the lead at a genuine tempo. WRITE ME A LETTER (9) is putting together a good winning CV with the two wins from her three starts. Won well on debut over this trip at Tamworth in fast time. Kept fresh third-up when she sat on the speed to keep them at bay to salute over 1000m at Muswellbrook. Faces a tougher test today but looks to have the upside to take this out. BEAUMISTA (1) is a distance specialist who came to town with high expectations before struggling to finish tenth over 1000m at Randwick in Highway class. Anywhere near his best would win this with the senior rider engaged. STAR WHISPERER (4) nice type heading in the right direction. Struggled in Highway class two-back, then closed strong over this trip for a narrow second at Quirindi. Blinkers go on today from the awkward gate. Each way. NOVA CENTAURI (3) resumes after doing the bulk of her racing in Highway grade. Fitted with the slick 1000m trial win at Tamworth. Undefeated at this track in two attempts and look for her launching late. SUGGESTED PLAY: Box Quinella 9,1,4,3.
