Reasonable tempo with a few going forward, headed by Sho Ryu Ten. NORTH SHORE GIRL (1) kicked off this campaign with a win two runs ago. Less impressive last time out when second over 1000m at this track, beaten 4 lengths after being in the firing line on the turn. Has her share of talent. Hard to beat in this suitable race. COURANTE (9) turned in a fair effort at this track over 1200m at her last run three-and-a-half months ago, finishing fifth and beaten 2.75 lengths. Strong chance to kick the campaign off on the right note. SAISIR LE REVE (3) resumes in a similar race to her last run 12 weeks ago when eighth, beaten 4.5 lengths. Worth plenty of thought. MALODHEEP (2) finished second at this track two runs back but was less effective last time over 1000m at this track, finishing 11 lengths back in 11th. Nicely placed to make amends.
