Solid tempo with Baby Quest leading from Rick and Ryuno Fowler. LE SOLEIL (4) is back from a break of 11 months. Only raced once last campaign which was a narrow defeat over 1200m at Hanshin. Under the care of new trainer Yuta Ebina this prep. Sure to make his presence felt. RICK (5) returns from a layoff of five months. Worth noting she filled a minor placing when returning from a spell last time in work over 1200m at this track. Should be hard to stop. BABY QUEST (7) was well fancied last start over 800m at Urawa when fourth, beaten 2.25 lengths. Extra trip is important. Worth another chance. RYUNO FOWLER (6) was beaten 5.5 lengths into eighth over 1200m at this track four weeks ago. No surprise to see him in the mix.
