Should be a keen tempo with Smart Elan, Danon Of Idea and Namura Wunder prominent. NAMURA WUNDER (6) produced a good effort last start when second over 2200m at this track to make it two minor placings from four runs this preparation. Should camp just off the leaders. Expected to be in the finish. LLOYD WEBBER (3) settled back on debut last time out and battled on evenly to finish fifth over 2000m at Kokura. Can open winning account this time. DANON OF IDEA (14) showed good early speed then led into the straight when fresh from a spell last start before fighting on to finish third, beaten 1.3 lengths, over 2200m at this track. Well-placed and expected to feature again. SMART ELAN (16) is a four-start maiden who resumed from a spell last start and was beaten 3.5 lengths when fifth over 2000m at this track. Definite top-three hope with plenty of improvement to come.
