Genuine tempo with Pioneer Square, Sunrise Gracia and Nombre D'or up front. SAVOIRE FAIRE (4) drifted well back last start then wound up strongly to finish fourth, beaten 3 lengths, over 2200m in the G2 Kyoto Shimbun Hai. Has a massive class edge on this field and should finish right over the top of these. DANON ATLAS (1) doesn't have the best strike rate but ran a strong race when resuming from a spell last time out over 2000m at Niigata, finishing third and beaten 1.1 lengths. Must raise the bar but he has the ability to fill the quinella spot. NOMBRE D'OR (2) is back at the races for the first time since April 4. Worth noting he filled a minor placing when returning from a spell last prep over 1800m at Kyoto. Makes plenty of each-way appeal. ZENNO INVOKE (7) finished second last time over 2000m at Fukushima, beaten half a length. Likely improver with top three claims.
