They look to roll along early with Ryders Legacy and Trainwreck leading the charge.
RYDERS LEGACY (2) ended his initial prep on a winning note when scoring easily on his home track at New Plymouth in January. He would have attended his local jump-outs, so he won't lack fitness, and he has the scope to take this out fresh. EXPLOSIVE IMPACT (4) is an honest stablemate of the top pick who is also resuming from a spell. A wide draw may not be an issue on a heavy track, and she will be ready to rumble. Check the market. WHISKEY N' RYE (1) will be peaking third up, and he slides down in class for this assignment. He has won on this course in the past, and he is a definite top 4 chance here. BLACK BETTY (8) has had a tune-up trial in preparation for her fresh-up run. Her only win came here, and depending on her condition in the yard, she is worth including in all top 4 combos. SILENT APPLAUSE (6) got back too far off a wide gate at Otaki 6 weeks ago, and has been given plenty of time to get over that run. She has a superior draw this time and can make amends. SUGGESTED PLAY: Whiskey N' Rye each way.
