GOING: H(10)

AONGATETE AVO-JECT 1200m

Track: HEAVY 10     Out 6m

Expecting Reptak to find the lead but there will be plenty of pressure over the sprint trip. QUONDO (5) skipped through the wet ground at Matamata and was a class above his rivals when scoring by 2 lengths fresh up nearly 2 weeks ago. He drops 3kg and is on target to take the next step immediately. REPTAK (2) peaked on his run late when finishing midfield fresh up at Te Rapa 4 weeks ago. His record here is the only query for us, but this very lightly tried 6YO gelding can be a quick improver. Include. MONEYPENNY (4) sliced through the pack late fresh up to score by a nose at Te Rapa, and she is usually just as sharp second up. She cops an extra 3.5kg, but has the scope to improve again. Each way. RIBKRAKA (3) ran a much better race when third a fortnight ago over 1400m, and even though he drops back down to 1200m, he can figure in the finish again. Stick with him. PRUDENTIA (7) has been close up in 2 starts at his level after winning in BM65 grade by a head second up at Te Rapa in April. Include in all top 4 combos. SUGGESTED PLAY: Quondo can win again.
