Oakfield Neptune to go to the lead at a genuine tempo.
OAKFIELD NEPTUNE (2) led all the way for a convincing first-up win over 1250m here two back then failed a repeat performance by just a long neck last start, again here at 1250m. Lightly raced mare who makes her own luck and it will take a big effort to run her down. EXTRIO (7) scored a tidy first-up win at Moruya then found the class beyond her at Canterbury last time. Worth another chance back in this more suitable contest. RUN RORY RUN (8) opened this campaign with an eye-catching third over 1250m at Taree, clocking in less than a length from the winner. Second-up form isn't great but this veteran retains a zest for racing and looks to be back in fine order. Lightly raced filly BIANCA MIA (10) is back after a four-month spell. Very competitive last time in work in comparable races to this. Two trials in June should have her right up to the mark. FAN HARDER (4) disappointed at Warren last start but is better than that. SUGGESTED PLAY: Oakfield Neptune is one of the better bets on the card.
