Dropping back to the short-course 860m will help him, and he can go one better here. SORT OF IN LOVE (7) cost herself any chance when missing the start at Kilcoy last time out from a wide gate, and that run is best ignored. Her form prior was near enough for a race like this, and she is worth another chance. CANDLE IN THE WIND (1) makes his debut off the back of a trial win at his only public appearance. Let the market be your best guide. DON'T DOUBT SOPHIE (3) has also been showing promise at the trials, and the Hulbert stable has a good strike rate when trekking their team to this course. Follow the market moves. LILI ANNA (4) makes her debut with the aid of a 2kg claim. Respect any money coming for her.
