Should be a strong tempo with plenty of speed engaged. BELLEROPHON (3) did a good job last start to finish second at this course and distance, beaten half a length. That was in open class. The testing material. ONE MORE STAR (4) hasn't won recently but looks close to a breakthrough based on his last start second at this track over 2000m when beaten 4 lengths. Should be prominent from the outset. Leading contender. SAMUEL SHARPE (7) got the prize two runs ago at Vaal. Safely held last time out when second over 2400m at Vaal, beaten 3.5 lengths. Tackling a deeper field this time but he is good enough to feature. DAMOVA (5) has been freshened up since she finished sixth over 2400m at Vaal five-and-a-half weeks ago. Has good early toe so she should be handy in the run. In the mix.
