Diamond Model should lead but there are a few other speedy types who can keep her honest.
REBEL RHAPSODY (5) had been racing extra well on the provincial circuit before tackling an open mile at Taree last start and struggling. Far better placed back to 1400m so give him another chance. MYRIAD (7) improved sharply last time out at the second run of the campaign, closing a shade too well at the end of 1200m at Wyong. New to this trip but he is very fit and looks up to the task. AUZSTAR (2) had a five-week let-up before being narrowly defeated by Tanglewood Jimmy here at this trip three weeks ago - Jimmy subsequently ran a big race in town this week. Honest veteran who is deep in contention. CROP DUSTER (1) did little at Gosford last time but the key is his return to Newcastle where he has an impressive six wins from 11 starts, three at today's journey. The stats speak for themselves. LAUREL HILL (3) has a terrible gate to contend with but she is an honest mare who looks hard to beat dropping back to the provincials. SUGGESTED PLAY: Rebel Rhapsody to return to winning form.
