Wound up strongly to just miss out at his latest run over 2000m at Niigata. Nicely drawn and looks tough to beat. BEAR DIAMOND (13) was handy in the run last time out when a very close third at Tokyo over 2000m. Plenty of improvement to come at just the third race start. Has a wide gate to overcome but will still be competitive. HAUTE QUALITE (14) pushed forward last time and boxed on to finish second over 2000m at Niigata. Should settle on the speed despite the draw. One of the contenders. CRYSTAL DRESS (9) finished third last time over 2400m at Tokyo, beaten 2.75 lengths. In the right race and is a winning hope.
