THE PEARCE MEMORIAL CHALLENGE CUP (HANDICAP) 1000m Track: GOOD |

|---|---|---|---|---|
|
Expecting Stellar Express to find the lead but there will be plenty of pressure over the sprint course. Good race this with a number of chances. STELLAR EXPRESS (2) has been racing well without winning and looks well placed coming back to this track and trip. He boasts a good record here and Bowman remains in the saddle. Can roll forward from the draw and make every post a winner. COLOURFUL KING (4) stepped up to 1200m last start and never got into the race at Happy Valley. Back to this scenario suits him much better and Atzeni has a good record aboard. Can stalk the speed and make his move late in the race. BEAUTY WAVES (1) is another who should appreciate this scenario today. He's trialled very well since his last start in G3 company and Teetan sticks from the trial. Can make a statement. MAGIC CONTROL (7) gets in with no weight on his back and is sure to make his presence felt.
