Solid tempo anticipated with O'caldino and Falcon Of Malta leading the way. FALCON OF MALTA (2) dropped in class and was an impressive winner last start. He cops an extra 2.5kg to carry, but he still appears well placed to go on with the job. He maps to get the run of the race, so stick with him. BARAZIN (1) has been building nicely this prep and went very close at his latest outing when finishing third at the Gold Coast in stronger company. He has a strong record over the trip, and should be among the hardest to hold out in this. MOONSHINE RUN (5) has returned in excellent order this campaign, and he will relish the extra 360m, which is the ideal next step third-up. SAMURAI WARRIOR (4) has been well-placed to win his last 3 races on the bounce. There is more depth to this field, but he must still be respected. MARENARO (6) has been racing consistently and gets another chance to show some form over a middle distance. Stick with him at value. SUGGESTED PLAY: Marenaro each way.
