Distance specialist with 14 wins and five minor placings from 25 runs and is expected to be in the finish. NORTHERN PRIDE (3) is back after a break of four months. Started the last campaign in good style when in the placings over 1100m at Mackay. Looks a strong prospect. VIBURNUM (5) comes here off a last-start fourth, only beaten 0.7 lengths, over 1100m at Julia Creek. Has a good record at this journey and is a hope. RUBY CHICKS (6) was safely held when resuming over 1000m at Townsville, finishing ninth and beaten 4.5 lengths. Is a second up winner in the past and can give this a shake. SUGGESTED PLAY: Roweiner's Dance win.
