Went back from the wide gate and chipped away late along the inside when fifth over 1200m here. Gets the right tempo today and will take holding out. COLD BREW (2) talented gelding who failed to make it four wins in succession first-up with a narrow fourth over 1100m at this track. Well placed with the claim and he gets a better set-up for this. Top-three contender. COSY CORNER (10) has returned in good shape this preparation and deserves her place in town. Bounced off her good first-up third, with a fast-finishing victory over 1250m at Newcastle. Gets in light with the claim and not to be underestimated. PRESIDES (4) strengthened over the break and has the figures to win a race of this calibre. Winning apprentice sticks and has each-way prospects. MAFIA (1) shouldering the big weights well and will prove hard to get past from the low gate. SUGGESTED PLAY: She Swings is expected to go close.
