Aided by a hectic pace up front and on the last run where he charged home to score he looks a top chance again. STARMAE (5) has been out of the winners list for a long time and off the scene for a while but has won fresh and presents fitter for a solid jump-out. Drawn for a soft run and should be right in this. SIOUX WARRIOR (7) has been going well over the border including a last-start win at Balaklava. Will be winding up strongly. OVER SHADY (9) kicked off this campaign with a win two runs ago. Couldn't follow that up last time out when fifth over 1000m at Bendigo, beaten 2.5 lengths. Likely improver with strong prospects. DAME I AM (10) didn't do a bad job when third over 1000m at Bendigo latest making late ground. That followed a win at Donald the start prior. Best figures measure up. Sure to run well. SUGGESTED PLAY: Monix can run over the top again.
