Expecting Ruskana to take up the running with Vondel and Portsmouth close at hand. Tough contest. PORTSMOUTH (5) imported gelding improving with racing. Pushed forward with the 60.5kg for a respectable fifth over 1600m at Warwick Farm in BM72 class. Has the speed to get over from the awkward draw and will prove hard to hold out in this class. SHEEZA DIVA (13) smart filly unlucky not to have a few more wins on the CV. Up sharply in grade with a struggling thirteenth over 2200m at Eagle Farm in the G1 Queensland Oaks. Drawn out and can take a hand in the finish. THE IRON STAR (6) is struggling to draw a decent gate of late and today is no different. Snagged back early and closed late with a close-up fifth over 1900m at Canterbury. Goes well on the home track. Each-way. ABANDONMENT (1) made his Australian debut with a tenacious on-pace third over 1500m at this track with the 61kg. Has further upside out to the 1800m and is not to be underestimated.
