Not much early pressure but Poorlittlerichkid, West Forty Seventh and Eagle Moon can take up forward spots. ANGEL'S GATHERING (1) is a seven-start maiden who finished sixth at his most recent outing over 1600m at Swan Hill. Has placed 3/3 heavy ground and this looks a great chance to break through. BLUE TYPHOON (8) drifted back from her wide draw last time then hit the line hard to finish third at Bendigo over 1500m. Overdue and expected to go close. TWO STROKE BABY (10) is yet to break through after seven career starts. Placed two back then stretched to 2000m latest and ran fourth. Freshened for the sharper trip and will be winding up late. WEST FORTY SEVENTH (7) hasn't been far away in two runs in, the latest over 1412m at Geelong when fourth. Fitter again and should run well. ASHEN KNIGHT (2) has more upside than most. Good run first try at the mile and can only be improved. SUGGESTED PLAY: Stay with Angel's Gathering.
