Durham Legacy, Summer Night and Artful Lodger can set a genuine tempo. BLONDIE'S TORONADO (8) was wide throughout last time but kept coming and lifted strongly to score over Whatdoya Mean. Up in weight but going well and looks tough to stop again. FINCHAVEN (5) was a maiden winner fresh then made solid inroads from well back last time to finish midfield. Has upside and will be winding up late. ARTFUL LODGER (11) resumed from a long break with a nice return, finishing third at Pakenham racing on speed. Fitter and will give a sight again. NAVAL FORCE (2) was good two back on rain-affected ground then safely held on top of the ground latest. Better off here and gets chance to bounce back. WHATDOYA MEAN (12) gave a sight and was just run down latest. Meets the winner better at weights and expected to be very competitive again. SUGGESTED PLAY: Blondie's Toronado can go back-to-back.
