Good tempo with several going forward, primarily Double Dash, Backinthefastlane and Beer With The Boys. GOLD INDEX (3) resumed over 1950m at this track last start and was too good for his rivals, scoring by one length. That was first run for the new yard and although yet to fire second-up can only be fitter and looks sure to run well again. GLENALMOND (4) was an impressive maiden winner last time out, scoring by 1.5 lengths over 1950m at this track. Worth noting ran much quicker time than Gold Index in open class on the same day. Can make it back-to-back wins. TRIP TO CAMELOT (9) made it two wins on the bounce last time out when he scored by a nose over 1600m at this track. Winning rider Craig Zackey retains the mount. First try this trip but likely to be in the finish again. BACKINTHEFASTLANE (7) didn't do a bad job when second last start over 1800m at this track. That followed a win at this track the start prior. Worth another chance.
