Expecting Divo to find the lead but there will be plenty of pressure over the sharp trip. Good contest with plenty of chances. KOSRAE (7) has gone to a new level this prep and had genuine excuses from the outside gate with a plugging seventh over 1200m at Gosford. Gets the gun run today with the 3kg claim and can return to winning form. ESCARGOES (5) kept fresh for this. Finally got the job done at start eight with a dominant first-up win as fav over this track and trip. Since fitted with a 786m tick over trial. Tommy Berry retains the ride and can go on with it this campaign. DIVO (2) strips fitter and will appreciate the claim today. Used up early and the effort told in the straight with a tiring fifth over 1200m at Newcastle. Can hold a position and take a hand in the finish. ALTERCATION (10) put the writing on the wall last time when she closed quickly for a solid second over 1000n at Taree. Drops in weight and must be respected. SUGGESTED PLAY: Brad Widdup holds the key to the race with two leading prospects.
