Many of these step out for the first time so a genuine tempo is expected. ALPHABET (5) has been racing in richer maidens, finishing runner-up fresh then was wide throughout but didn't quicken in the latest. Better than that and blinkers added for this. Best figures more than stack up and is well worth another chance. DIVINE BELLINI (8) gave a sight fresh on slow ground at Swan Hill but was run down late. Will strip fitter and take catching again. GALACTIC GIRL (9) showed ability at her lone start before a spell. Has been in and out of work twice but fitter for three recent jump-outs so should be primed to run well. GIVE IT A YEAR (14) is a two-year-old gelding making his debut by Almanzor out of Buy Me A Rock. Well-educated and expected to measure up. CABARET QUEEN (7) has been given a let-up and worth noting both career placings have been on rain-affected ground. Expected to improve sharply. SUGGESTED PLAY: Alphabet can atone.
