Expect her to play a major role. CANDY BOUQUET (10) is still a maiden after 13 starts. Managed to fill a minor placing at Funabashi two starts back before finishing seventh over 1000m at Funabashi last time. Likely to be about the money. PRESTO VENUS (9) won when fresh from a spell two runs back then was well in the market last time but could only manage fifth over 900m at this track. Has a solid record at this journey with five wins from 13 starts and is expected to be competitive. NEVER KNOWS (11) ran a better race last start, finishing 2 lengths away in fourth over 900m at this track. Finds a nice race and can atone.
