Expecting a strong pace from the outset with plenty of speed engaged. HOLLERLOUD (1) built on a nice second two starts back at Julia Creek with a win over 1000m at Mt Isa nine days ago, getting home by 2.25 lengths. Needs to be at his best to beat this field but he deserves plenty of thought. FINAL MISSION (10) finished a long neck second on dirt at Quilpie two back then followed up with another minor placing on turf at Barcaldine over 1300m four weeks ago. Looks a solid each-way chance. The well-related BOOM BOOM RAY (5) (half to G2 winner Doull) will be ready to peak now third run back from the spell and looks a definite top-three prospect on best figures. SALT LAKE BETTY (6) doesn't win out of turn but is usually thereabouts and may earn some minor money. SUGGESTED PLAY: Hollerloud to win again.
