Tricky one to map with a number of debutants but over this trip there is good speed anticipated. SCATHINGLY (2) returned from a 72-week spell with a game third over 900m at Scone after he led for the judge. Will take great benefit from that outing and in an open race looks a great chance to break through. SUPIDO STAR (8) has produced a couple of eye-catchers of late, most recently over 900m at Scone where she flashed home late. Rock hard fit after three runs back from a spell. Progressive filly who will be hard to hold out. EEZITOSORT (3) ran on okay but was easily accounted for first-up at Moree over 950m. Sparingly raced and has a lot more to offer. Has a sticky gate but with a bit of cover she should be in the finish. SABLE COAT (11) is a first starter from the Archibald stable. Trials have been plain to say the least but the early betting suggests there is more under the hood. STRUM CHA CHA (12) is another debutante from a leading yard who isn't showing much at the trials. Betting watch advised. SUGGESTED PLAY: Backing Scathingly each-way.
