Strong tempo with Eastcoast Hussler, Valiant Joan and Imminent Boom leading the charge. NOBLE INTENT (1) is back from a spell of six-and-a-half months. Closed last campaign with a minor placing over 1100m at Rockhampton. Gets 1.5kg off with the claim and has found the right race to kick off the campaign. IMMINENT BOOM (5) had been racing well with three consecutive placings before last start managing only sixth over 1000m at Tambo. Has the gate speed to take up a forward position and rates among the leading chances. SPEC OF SILVER (3) showed good early dash and raced on the speed last start before fading to finish 3 lengths back in fifth over 1000m at this track. Another bold showing is expected. VALIANT JOAN (12) has accrued four minor placings from seven runs this campaign. Continued the trend last time out when third over 1200m at this circuit. In a suitable race and can find the winner's circle. SUGGESTED PLAY: Noble Intent to return a winner.
